MAO CHA

Mao Cha translates as "rough tea" and means that this tea is unfinished and in an intermediate production stage. This term is used for tea material that is ready to be steamed and pressed in the case of Sheng (Raw) Pu'Er production or further fermentation during Shu (Ripe) Pu'Er production. This type of tea is also used for blending and further storage before being pressed into 'cakes.'

Sheng (Raw) Pu'er is a naturally aged tea traditionally made from wild old tea trees. Its taste is always multifaceted and deep, with fruity, honey, and woody notes. Over time, it becomes softer and richer.
