AN SHIM TEA PRODUCTION

Since 2018, we have been driven by the idea of creating something distinctive for true tea connoisseurs — authentic teas of exceptional quality that respect tradition and follow a timeless, classic approach. For several years, we worked closely with farmers, tea makers, and blenders, developing original blends and authentic Pu’Er teas while gradually building our own understanding of tea production. This experience eventually led us to take the next step and begin producing tea ourselves in 2022. In the spring of 2026, our team opened its own tea factory in the mountains of Hà Giang Province, northern Vietnam, where we specialize in producing tea from ancient tea tree material. Inspired by the traditional methods that made Yunnan tea renowned around the world, we are dedicated to preserving authentic craftsmanship while expressing the unique character of Vietnam’s mountain tea forests.

Since 2024, our teas have received several Gold Medals at international competitions for tea producers. For us, these awards are an important recognition of the quality of our work and the direction we have chosen, especially as our production continues to develop. Our tea factory is located in Hà Giang Province in northern Vietnam, approximately 15 minutes from Hà Giang City, at the foot of the mountains where numerous ancient tea tree gardens are scattered across remote slopes and highland villages. This location places us close to the source of the raw material and allows us to work directly with local farmers, carefully selecting leaves from some of the finest gardens in the region.

The factory combines traditional tea-making knowledge with the precision and control of a modern production environment. An experienced team, led by one of the region’s respected tea masters, works with new professional equipment while preserving traditional methods of leaf processing. A large open area for natural sun-drying together with dedicated production spaces and several warehouses for professional tea storage allows us to control the entire process: from the quality and standard of freshly picked leaves to every stage of production, ageing, and final storage.

Hà Giang is a mountainous region shaped by high elevations, changes in temperature, abundant rainfall, mist, and diverse forest ecosystems. These conditions support slow-growing tea trees and create raw material with remarkable concentration, structure, aromatic complexity, and the depth required for producing high-quality teas with strong ageing potential.
