ORIGIN
The Wu Liang Shan mountains are located in the Lincang area, Yunnan province. This region is famous for its wild ancient trees grown here for thousands of years. The unique climate, high altitude, soil, humidity, and a lot of sunlight create an excellent environment for the growth of tea trees, which gives this tea a particularly special character and taste. The tea leaves from this area are famous for their sweetness and deeply complex taste.
The Tulin tea factory is located in Nan Jian country, Yunnan province, China. Since 1983 they have produced high-quality pu'er tea using special raw leaf material, having a reputation for high-quality and special properties.
ORGANOLEPTICS
This great shu pu'er spent 3 years in a Hong Kong traditional storage and developed into something very noble. Big leaves, hardly pressed into an accurate disk/cake with beautifully engraved characters. Dry leaves have a sweet aroma with notes of wet wood. The taste is smooth and mellow, with woody, nutty, mineral notes. Long-lasting sweet aftertaste. Very nice tea, too good for its age!
