ORIGIN
This very special shu pu'er is made from high-quality raw tea leaf material harvested from old tea trees in the Simao (Pu'Er) area and is traditionally processed by a skillful tea master to perfection. Te Ji grade is considered one of the highest quality grades used for premium tea production. The big amount of young buds and leaves is carefully processed under the control of a skilled tea master. Gone through the full wet-pilling process, this shu pu'er is quite highly fermented with a complex, deep taste. A premium product for a very special price, which can be a nice choice either for daily enjoyment or for further ageing.
ORGANOLEPTICS
The dry tea has a fresh, sweet, and woody aroma. After rinsing, the aroma transforms into notes of black bread, black currant, and nutty. Thick, deep, mineral, balsamic, and sweet taste with notes of wood, nuts, dark chocolate, liquorice, and coffee. Pleasant long-lasting aftertaste. The colour of the infusion is black with a tinge of dark amber and a tone that can remind of balsamic vinegar.
