SHU PU'ER FROM TE JI GRADE 2018

ORIGIN
This very special shu pu'er is made from high-quality raw tea leaf material harvested from old tea trees in the Simao (Pu'Er) area and is traditionally processed by an experienced tea master. 'Te Ji' grade is considered one of the highest quality grades used for premium tea production. This tea consists of high-quality raw materials consisting of a large number of buds and young leaves. The degree of pressing is average, the tea easily separates into layers, allowing you to carefully disassemble it into smaller parts. Organic, high-quality raw materials and masterful processing of tea leaves make this tea an excellent candidate for further taste transformations.

ORGANOLEPTICS
The dry tea has a fresh, sweet, and woody aroma. After rinsing, the aroma transforms into notes of black bread, black currant, and nutty. The taste is sweet and rich, with chocolate, nutty, and caramel notes. Next infusions the taste becomes thicker and deeper, with mineral, balsamic, licorice, and coffee notes. There is a slight hint of fermentation in the taste of the tea, but the taste is deep and smooth enough to say with confidence that the next few years will turn this tea into a softer, deeper, woody, and nutty Shu Pu'Er. The tea has a silky texture and a long-lasting sweet and woody aftertaste.
