ABOUT
Red Jasmine is a traditionally scented red tea produced in China, crafted using high-quality red tea made from material sourced from old tea trees. The use of mature plant material provides greater depth and stability in the base tea, allowing it to support and integrate the delicate jasmine aroma without losing clarity. This foundation is essential for achieving a balanced and refined final profile.

The tea is scented with organic jasmine flowers, carefully selected to ensure purity and consistency. The production follows a traditional method of layering tea with fresh blossoms, allowing the leaves to gradually absorb the fragrance through controlled scenting cycles. Each stage of the process is carefully monitored, ensuring that both the tea and the flowers maintain their integrity.

Special attention is given to quality control at every step, from raw material selection to final drying. This approach guarantees a high level of consistency and precision, resulting in a tea that expresses both the depth of the base material and the elegance of natural jasmine aroma. Red Jasmine represents a combination of traditional craftsmanship and strict production standards, offering a clean and well-defined aromatic profile appreciated by experienced tea lovers.

TERROIR
Red Jasmine is based on red tea material sourced from Hà Giàng, Vietnam, a region known for its mountainous landscape and ancient tea tree populations. Tea trees in this area often grow at elevations above 1000 meters, where a cool climate, frequent mist, and significant day and night temperature variation support slow and balanced leaf development. These conditions allow the leaves to accumulate a high concentration of aromatic and structural compounds.

The tea trees, often of the Shan Tuyết variety, grow in semi-wild or wild environments with minimal agricultural intervention. The soils are mineral-rich and well-drained, supporting deep root systems and contributing to a clean and stable base tea. This terroir provides a strong foundation for scenting, as the depth and clarity of the leaf allow it to harmonize effectively with floral aromas.

The combination of high-altitude mountain conditions and carefully selected organic jasmine flowers results in a balanced and layered expression. The strength and purity of the Hà Giàng tea base support the floral character, allowing both the natural sweetness of the tea and the refined jasmine aroma to remain distinct while forming a cohesive profile.

ORGANOLEPTICS
The dry leaf appearance is elegant and slightly twisted, with medium-sized leaves in dark brown tones, subtly infused with fine jasmine petals. The aroma of the dry leaves is clean and expressive, combining gentle honeyed sweetness with a clear, fresh jasmine floral note. In a preheated teapot, the tea gradually opens, and the aroma becomes more pronounced, revealing soft floral tones, light fruit nuances, and a delicate, natural sweetness. After a brief rinse, the leaves fully awaken, and the aroma gains clarity and depth, where the jasmine fragrance integrates smoothly with the warm, rounded character of the tea.

The aroma of the liquor in the empty cup is soft and persistent, with distinct jasmine notes and a gentle sweet undertone. The taste is smooth and well-structured, with a medium body and a clean, balanced texture. From the first sips, a natural sweetness emerges, supported by soft floral tones and light fruit nuances, with very low astringency. The profile remains harmonious across multiple infusions, allowing the jasmine aroma to evolve gradually while maintaining clarity. The aftertaste is clean and elegant, leaving a lingering floral sweetness and a light cooling sensation. In the empty cup after drinking, delicate notes of jasmine, honey, and a subtle fruity sweetness remain.
