ORIGIN
Hà Giang is a mountainous province in northern Vietnam, located at the country’s northernmost border with China. Known for its dramatic landscapes and ancient tea forests, it is one of Vietnam’s most pristine and culturally rich regions. The province is defined by rugged limestone mountains, deep valleys, and winding rivers that shape its unique, untouched character. Tea gardens and wild Shan Tuyết trees grow at altitudes between 1,200 and 2,000 meters, surrounded by dense forests and cool mountain air. The climate is mild and misty, with frequent fog and high humidity that nourish the tea trees and enhance the natural sweetness of their leaves.
The soil in Hà Giang is rich in minerals, giving local teas a distinct clarity and depth of flavor. The region’s remote location and limited industrial activity help preserve the purity of its environment, making it one of the cleanest and most ecologically balanced tea-growing areas in Vietnam. Beyond its natural beauty, Hà Giang is home to several ethnic minority groups, including the H’Mông, Dao, and Tày, whose traditional lifestyles remain closely connected to the land. Together, the region’s geography, climate, and culture create a rare and authentic mountain terroir that defines the unique identity of Hà Giang and its celebrated teas.

Red Jasmine is our signature interpretation of the world-renowned jasmine tea - crafted with care, authenticity, and respect for tradition. The base of this tea comes from early spring leaves harvested from old, wild tea trees growing high in the mountains of Hà Giang Province, northern Vietnam. These ancient trees, thriving in untouched natural conditions, produce leaves with rich character and depth, forming the perfect foundation for this elegant creation. Following traditional processing methods, the freshly harvested leaves are carefully withered, rolled, and fully oxidized to bring out the natural sweetness and warm, honeyed aroma typical of fine Vietnamese red tea. The finished tea is then naturally scented with organic jasmine blossoms by a trusted local tea master, using a time-honored technique where layers of fresh flowers and tea leaves are gently combined. Through this process, the tea absorbs the delicate floral fragrance of jasmine while maintaining its deep, smooth red tea body.

The dry leaf of Red Jasmine consists of dark, slender leaves with soft golden tips, exuding a warm and elegant appearance. The aroma is rich and layered - a blend of honey, cocoa, and malt wrapped in the gentle sweetness of jasmine blossoms. When placed in a preheated teapot, the fragrance deepens, revealing warm notes of baked fruit, caramel, and wildflowers. The floral tone of jasmine becomes rounder and more integrated, merging beautifully with the natural depth of red tea.
