ORIGIN
Menghai County is one of the most famous Pu’Er-producing regions located in the western part of the Xishuangbanna area, Yunnan Province, China. As well as the home of legendary fabrics, which produced the most iconic pu’er teas back in the 50’s till the ’90s, this territory includes such legendary mountains like Nannuo, Bada, Hakei, Bulang (Laobanzhang, Lao Man Er, Mannuo), Meng Song and others.
These places are famous for their ancient tea trees and tea with a strong, intense, powerful taste.
This tea is made from tea leaves, traditionally harvested from 300+ years old tea trees high in the mountains. Carefully traditionally processed for further aging. After more than 15 years of storage in a natural environment this tea transformed into something very special and unique.

Aged for 10+ years in traditional Hong Kong storage and 5+ years in Natural Storage this tea transformed into perfect semi-aged tea with powerful 'Cha Qi' and multifaceted flavour full of woody and smoky motifs. Dry tea leaves have a sweet, fresh, smoky fragrance. After warming up tea leaves aroma develops into leather, herbal, and spicy notes. After rinsing aroma continues to develop and change with every new infusion and brings some dried fruits and a smoky note. The taste is smooth and deep with notes of dried fruits and wood. Sweet long-lasting aftertaste with menthol freshness and light spicy sharpness. Strong tea ready to be consumed or perfect for being aged for a long time and transformed into a piece of art.
