ORIGIN
Jasbire is a small place, located in the very East of Nepal, not far away from Ilam. This highland area has a unique and perfect climate for growing tea leaves. Thanks to cultivars and processing technology brought from Darjeeling, as well as very similar weather conditions, Nepal is a very special place for tea production. This tea is made from early spring harvest, so-called First Flush, and is very lightly oxidised to create a special aroma and taste that the Darjeeling teas are famous for. Like most of Darjeeling, it's a special type of tea and deserves special attention.
ORGANOLEPTICS
The First Flush is famous for its gentle floral, honey flavour. Thanks to the high-quality tea leaf and special production environment, this tea has a very tender aroma and taste. The dry tea leaf has a light aroma with floral notes. The taste is sweet and refreshing with floral, fruity, and honey notes and an herbal aftertaste. Very gentle and silky texture.
GASTRONOMY
This tea is perfect for serving during lunch as an aperitif before dinner. Easy to brew and beautiful all the way. An excellent refreshing drink and perfect for pairing with light meals or even deserts. Goes well as a pairing with whiskey.
