SINGLE BUSH FROM PHOENIX MOUNTAIN with ALMOND FRAGRANCE

ORIGIN
Feng Huang "Phenix" Dan Cong "Single Bush" got its name from the place where it comes from (the so-called "Phoenix Mountains") and the type of raw material used in the production of this tea. Most of the best representatives of Phoenix wulongs are made from tea trees grown at a distance from each other which guarantees rich soil and affects the quality and taste of the tea. There are eight main cultivars used for Feng Huang Dan Cong production. Each of them has its unique flavour and Milan Xiang "Honey Orchid Fragrance" is one of them.

This tea is so unique, so we can put it in a separate category/level among wulong teas. It is considered that the most valuable is tea harvested from semi-wild/wild old tea trees that have powerful 'Cha Qi' and strong fragrance. This tea should be appreciated slowly, and carefully with great attention paid to the aroma. We highly recommend using tea pairs to appreciate this tea, as well as using high-quality water, preferably boiled over the fire! When properly stored, such tea becomes softer, deeper, and more interesting over time and becomes the same expensive as Pu'Er tea.

This particular tea is harvested from semi-wild 200 years old tea bushes, grown on Wu Dong Mountain. The trees grow in a relatively wild environment, at a distance from each other, which guarantees soil rich in micro-elements, which is reflected in the high quality and beneficial properties. The Shui Xiang tea bush variety is one of the most popular in China for the production of high-quality Guangdong and Wuyishan wulongs. This tea was produced in a small family production by an 80-year-old master with extensive experience and has been impressing us with his first-class teas for many years. This particular Dan Cong is a medium-heated wulong and has a very subtle, delicate aroma and taste.

ORGONOLEPTIC
The aroma of the dried leaves has a soft, sweet, delicate floral character. From the first seconds, you can detect milky, creamy, vanilla notes in the aroma. After warming the leaves, the aroma continues with bright floral, fruity motifs. After rinsing aroma changes into wine and fruity notes. The very sweet and deep tea promises a deep tea immersion.

The taste is soft and delicate, with floral, fruity, grape notes. The drink leaves a strong and long aftertaste, a bright and powerful impression. Creamy texture drink, with a light woody tartness on the tip of the tongue, ends with a long sweet aftertaste. In an empty bowl, there are perfumes, nectar, and oud. The tea has a clear and quite powerful 'Cha Qi', relaxing and tuning at the same time. The infusion is light, the color of white wine. The tea can withstand a huge number of infusions, giving a stable taste and aroma.

This tea can easily be called a masterpiece and the pearl of our collection!

GASTRONOMY
This tea could be a nice aperitif, cold-brewed for 2-4 hours and served in champagne glasses. Amazing aroma and gentle taste will go well with light desserts and pastries.
