ORIGIN
With this original tea blend, we continue our efforts to promote high-quality tea among a broader audience. Having completed our trilogy of morning, afternoon, and evening blends, we set ourselves a new goal: to create a more universal and accessible blend that can satisfy a wide range of preferences, whether the person is new to tea or already an experienced tea lover. We wanted to give this blend the character of a “family tea,” as one of tea’s most essential qualities is its ability to bring people together and gather loved ones around the table. This blend is composed of carefully selected high-mountain red and black teas, combined in proportions that ensure a balanced, rounded, and deep flavor. It works beautifully as a breakfast tea and is equally suitable for an afternoon cup. The soft, velvety texture and rich spectrum of flavors - from floral and honeyed notes to deeper woody and tannic accents - create a versatile tea experience that, we hope, will inspire more people to explore the world of high tea.
ORGANOLEPTICS
The dry leaf shows dark amber-brown tones with a gentle sheen, offering a clean and warm first aroma with hints of dried fruits, light floral sweetness, and a soft cocoa nuance. Once warmed, the bouquet becomes richer and more expressive: honeyed notes rise first, followed by deeper impressions of baked bread, ripe stone fruits, and a delicate woody warmth, supported by a subtle malt character. The infusion reveals a clear copper-red color and an aroma where bright, brisk accents meet darker tones of caramelized sugar, dried flowers, and a light resinous undertone.
The taste is round and well-structured, beginning with gentle sweetness and developing into a fuller, velvety body marked by touches of malt, honey, and warm spices. A fine tannic backbone gives clarity without harshness, while fresh high notes and deeper woody nuances create balance and depth. The finish is long, clean, and comforting, with lingering hints of dried fruit, soft florals, and warm wood.
GASTRONOMY
This tea offers a broad gastronomic potential thanks to its rounded taste, soft texture, and balanced interplay of sweetness, freshness, and gentle tannins. It pairs naturally with lighter dishes, enhancing their subtle flavors: morning toasts, soft pastries, butter, honey, and mildly sweet desserts all harmonize well with its clean, comforting profile. With more substantial foods, the tea maintains its structure and supports the dish without overpowering it, it works well with mild cheeses, white meats, simple homemade pies, and medium-intensity chocolate or biscuits. Its warm woody tones and long, smooth finish help unify the flavors on the palate, giving the overall experience a calm and cohesive character.
