White tea technology is one of the oldest tea processing techniques on earth when tea was considered a medicine. White tea is prepared according to a special technology of natural withering and drying, while maintaining its rich internal content with substances such as active enzymes, polyphenols, etc. Due to the special cultivars, climate, quality of the tea leaves, and low level of oxidation, this type of tea provides maximum vitamins and microelements. The highest quality white teas are made from spring young buds and leaves, traditionally dried under the sun.
Chinese traditional medicine claims that white tea has a cooling nature, dissipating heat and reducing fire. White tea strengthens the immune system, reduces the risk of heart disease, lowers blood pressure, prevents the development of cancer cells, and has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. It is crafted exclusively from young unopened buds, each carefully shaped by hand into distinctive ring-like forms. The production follows a minimal white tea approach, where the buds are gently withered and dried without rolling or mechanical shaping. However, in this case, the shaping is done manually, giving the tea its characteristic appearance while preserving the integrity of the leaf. This careful handling allows the buds to retain their natural composition, resulting in a clean and stable profile.
The terrain consists of mountainous slopes with well-drained soils rich in organic matter. These soils support steady plant growth without excessive vigor, contributing to the density and integrity of the buds. The high-altitude environment, combined with careful cultivation, results in material that is both refined and structurally balanced. Microclimate plays a key role, with diffused sunlight, cloud cover, and consistent moisture regulating photosynthesis.
