ORIGIN
Made from first spring tea leaves, harvested from wild old bushes high in the mountains of the Nantou county area, this tea is one of the most amazing red teas I've ever tried. Due to the special varietal Camellia Sinensis var. Formosensis and handmade traditional production, this tea has a unique taste profile. Due to a wild mountainous area, harvesting is very difficult and this tea is being made in small quantities.
ORGANOLEPTICS
Even a dry tea leaf has a very unique, sugary fragrance. Notes of berries, flowers, and honey. After rinsing, the aroma develops into exotic fruit notes, like mango and pineapple. The taste is gentle and sweet, with notes of baked fruits, dried apple, honey, marmalade, and plum. Soft texture with a sweet long-lasting aftertaste. Super sweet sugary fragrance in the aroma cup with notes of cotton candy, raspberry, and ice cream. Calming and relaxing, this is one of the pearls of the AN SHIM TEA Collection.
