SHENG PU'ER FROM BULANG SHAN MOUNTAIN 2020

ORIGIN
Bulang Mountains are located in Menghai country, Xishuangbanna prefecture, Yunnan province, China. Mountain ranges intersect with valleys, the altitude is 535 to 2082 meters above sea level. The forest covers up to 67% of the territory. The old trees of the Bulang Shan occupy 9505 mu (665 ha). The 'Bulang' minority, formed from the ancient 'Pu' tribe, were the first to grow tea in Yunnan. They moved to the local mountains thousands of years ago. Tea from this area is famous for its intense, astringent, and sweet taste with clear 'Huigan' and powerful 'Qi'.

Tulin tea factory is located in Nan Jian county, Yunnan province, China. Since 1983, they have produced high-quality pu'er tea using special raw materials harvested in Dali prefecture. The tea material from these places grows high in the mountains, sometimes the altitude reaches about 2500 meters above sea level, which results in a reputation of special quality and properties. Like Xiaguan, the Nan Jian factory uses similar technologies and treatment during the production of their special Tuo Tea. This tea is famous for its balanced aroma and sweet taste.

ORGANOLEPTICS
The raw material used for this tea consists of a combination of 'one bud and two leaves'. Despite the rather strong pressing, the tea is quite easily disassembled into layers, preserving the integrity of the leaves.

The aroma of dry tea leaves is sweet, honey, and woody. After rinsing, the aroma develops into more woody, vegetal motifs. Some dried fruits, caramel, and dried herbs. With further brewing at a higher temperature, the aroma escapes into the rich forest universe.

The taste of the infusion is soft, deep, and multifaceted, with dried fruit and woody notes. The tea has a creamy texture and a soft, sweet, long-lasting aftertaste with a very unusual creamy, spicy freshness. The tea produces a thick, amber-colored infusion with orange tones. Wonderful, soft, calm tea, relaxing and invigorating!
