RED PLUM FROM NINE BEND RIVER

ORIGIN
Exquisite red tea from Hangzhou City, Zhejiang province, China with 150+ years of history. Earned a lot of awards and good responses from the world tea society but remained quite a local and rare tea. This tea is a great representative of Gongfu Hong Cha "Highest Mastery Red Teas" and is quite different from common ones due to the more careful and handmade process. Produced from the highest quality tea leaves, harvested in spring, and made using local cultivars, this tea has a special aroma and taste.

ORGANOLEPTICS
These beautiful hand-rolled tea leaves have a very gentle sweet honey aroma. Dry tea leaves have sweet floral and honey notes. After keeping tea leaves in a warmed teapot aroma develops into bakery notes with vanilla, cinnamon, and creme nuances. The taste is rich and gentle with notes of dried fruits and honey. Soft and silky texture with long-lasting aftertaste. Infusion is quite aromatic and the empty bowl has a pleasant sugary, orchid aroma. For those red tea lovers, this is quite a 'must try' tea.

GASTRONOMY
This tea will go well with light desserts based on puff pastry, custard, creme, and fruits. Perfect choice for evening tea sessions with your loved ones.
