SILVER NEEDLES WHITE TEA from BIHAR TEA ESTATE

ORIGIN
Bihar is a state in East India, bordering Nepal. It is divided by the River Ganges, which floods its fertile plains. Important Buddhist pilgrimage sites include the Bodhi Tree in Bodhgaya's Mahabodhi Temple, under which the Buddha allegedly meditated.

Doke Tea Estate is a family tea production, run by the Lochan family and focused on specialty tea segment as well as tea education. Rajiv Lochan, the founder and head of the project, is a famous tea entertainer from India, professional tea taster, and international Indian tea representative. Rajiv has made a great contribution to the development and popularization of Indian tea, winner of a huge number of international awards in the tea industry, and, finally, just a tea person who devoted his life to tea. Having been producing tea in Darjeeling since 1974, he moved to Bihar in 1997 and became the first person who started to grow and produce tea in this area. A wonderful story of a connection between humans with tea, which is passed down from generation to generation.

ORGANOLEPTICS
The tea consists of whole young buds, harvested in early spring, and absorbing all the energy and strength of these places. The aroma of dry tea leaves is honey, floral, and nutty. Notes of pumpkin seeds, green peas, and fresh hay. The aroma of warmed tea leaves reveals bakery notes, and even more floral, honey motifs. The rinsed tea leaf opens into a rich, fragrant bouquet of wildflowers and dried herbs, evoking associations of spring and a sunny day in a dense forest. With further brewing, the aroma develops into sauna and herbal motifs.

The taste of tea is sweet, soft, and refined, with sugary and honey motifs and a refreshing aftertaste. The tea gives a feeling of lightness and freshness, leaving a long sweet aftertaste. The infusion is clean, light, and creamy in color. When steeped for a long time, the infusion becomes deeper in taste, revealing herbal, bread, and nutty notes. A wonderful white tea with its original taste and character.
