ORIGIN
Alishan Wulong is named after a mountain in central Taiwan. Alishan is a mountain range consisting of several mountain ranges. The highest peak is Datashan, at 2,663 meters above sea level. Tea gardens in the mountains are from 1,000 to 2,600 meters above sea level. The price of Alishan wulong depends on the altitude of the tea bushes and the labor required to harvest raw materials in the highlands. Bright sunlight, thick fog in the afternoon, and relatively cool nights benefit the vegetation of tea bushes and the accumulation of nutrients in the leaves. The late arrival of spring in the mountains is reflected in the intensity of Alishan Wulong's taste. The root system has more time to rest in winter before the next vegetation.
Alishan Wulong consists of tightly twisted yellow-green balls approximately the same size. The golden infusion of Taiwanese Alishan has a rich taste and delicate aroma, leaving a sweetish-fruity aftertaste in the mouth. The location of tea plantations in the highlands is reflected in the aroma, intensity of the wulong taste, and concentration of nutrients in the tea leaf.
