60th ANNIVERSARY SHU PU'ER CAKE 2009

ORIGIN
I received this wonderful shu (ripe) pu'er as a special order from my colleague and a single offer to join in the purchase of several tongs of this tea. Made in a not very well-known factory but according to a very good recipe and has a very rich, deep flavour what makes me say that this tea is a premium quality product.

This recipe was first created in 2009 at the Xing Yi Cha Ye Chu Pin factory in Menghai County, after which it began to gain popularity among connoisseurs of this tea and was reproduced over the next years. However, as it usually happens, this first release was the most successful and was of the highest quality. Before this tea appeared on our website, it was very appreciated and loved by my regular customers and was half sold out. I am pleased to present to you the 2009 release that has been so beloved by all of us over the past few years. The tea is made from premium quality raw materials harvested in Menghai County. The recipe is dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the People's Republic of China.

ORGANOLEPTICS
This cake has a large number of buds on the surface and mostly large leaves inside. Dry tea has deep woody, and fresh earthy notes. The medium pressing makes it easy to disassemble into individual leaves and leaf clumps. Warmed tea leaves have a soft and sweet woody, nutty aroma. After rinsing, the aroma develops into bakery, creamy, nutty notes. Fragrant, noble woodiness, spring freshness. The aroma is clean, without a hint of fermentation or storage conditions.

The tea produces a dark, thick infusion. Silky texture, aromatic and aromatic flavour. The taste is sweet, rich, and mellow, with bright woody, and nutty notes that go into dark chocolate. Very long-lasting sweet aftertaste. This gives me a reason to talk about very high-quality raw materials, most likely harvested from old tea trees, and masterful processing techniques, which are reflected in the excellent taste of this tea. The tea leaf can withstand a huge number of brews, revealing new nuances with each infusion. Tea soothes, relaxes, and warms. The degree of fermentation is quite high, which allows you to enjoy it now and not worry about storage time, which will only make it better.
