These are the tea leaves harvested from old tea trees and processed for sheng pu'er production. The most common production process is - harvesting - killing-green – rolling – drying. The only difference is that this material hasn't been steamed and processed in the 'cake'! It is considered that Mao Cha ages differently due to the large contact with oxygen.
