Mao Cha translates as "rough tea" and means that this tea is unfinished and is in an intermediate stage of production. This term is used for a tea material that is ready to be steamed and pressed in case of Sheng (Raw) Pu'Er production or further fermentation process during Shu (Ripe) Pu'Er production. This type of tea is also used for blending and further storage before being pressed into 'cakes'.

ORGANOLEPTICS
Premium tea from ancient trees, traditionally produced and pressed for long-term storage. This tea is prepared to delight with its noble character and powerful organoleptic experience. It is a genuine, authentic Pu'Er, ready to satisfy any true tea hunter. The dry tea leaves have a soft, sweet honey aroma with light fruity and vanilla notes. When warmed, the aroma intensifies with floral and woody undertones. After rinsing, it unfolds into a perfume-like bouquet of sweet floral and wine-like nuances. With subsequent brews, the aroma evolves toward woody, mushroom, and forest notes.

The infusion tastes refreshing, sweet, and aromatic, leaving a long-lasting sweet aftertaste with floral hints. With longer steeping, the tea reveals deeper woody and mushroom notes, becoming more complex and multifaceted. It is an exceptionally smooth, noble, and profound tea with a reserved yet powerful character, carrying the invigorating energy of the mountains.
