ORIGIN
Feng Huang "Phoenix" got its name from the place where it comes from. This tea is an excellent example of a truly authentic red tea of the highest mastery, with an exceptional aroma and rich, multifaceted taste. Made from the leaves of the Shui Xian tea bush, and produced by a master with extensive experience in the production of Guangdong wulongs, this tea, in our opinion, is a masterpiece and deserves very special attention.

This particular tea is harvested from semi-wild 60+ years old tea bushes, grown on Wu Dong Mountain. The trees grow in a relatively wild environment, at a distance from each other, which guarantees soil rich in micro-elements, which is reflected in the high quality and beneficial properties. The Shui Xiang tea bush variety is one of the most popular in China for the production of high-quality Guangdong and Wuyishan wulongs. This tea was produced in a small family production by an 80-year-old master with extensive experience and has been impressing us with his first-class teas for many years.

Pressed tea from the Phoenix Mountains is quite a rare occurrence and I am pleased to present you with this unique item in our collection. This 100g cake consists of two types of tea, where delicate and sweet white tea is mixed with rich and deep red tea, which makes this composition very interesting and rare. This form allows the tea to be stored longer and makes it a potential candidate for further aging. The degree of pressing is average, the tea holds its shape well and is easily disassembled by hand into individual fragments.

ORGONOLEPTIC
The dry tea leaf has a bright, honeyed, floral aroma typical of phoenix teas. Sweet, soft, and deep, the aroma promises a very subtle, yet profound tea experience. The warmed tea leaf continues with floral, vanilla, and bakery notes. The rinsed tea leaf reveals very pleasant fruity and honey motifs.

The taste of the tea is soft, sweet, and deep, with fruity, dried fruits, and honey notes. A stunning combination of the tenderness of white tea and the volume and depth of red tea, gives an unusual multi-layered taste, gradually revealing itself and leaving a pleasant long-lasting sweet aftertaste. At the same time, the tea contains the perfume characteristic of Guangdong wulong and its unique character.
